Yoga/Mindfull Movement

Yoga is SO much more than a series of postures. It is gently reminding both your physical and etheric bodies (and in turn your nervous system) how to be adaptable, flexible, and resilient in all the best ways.

Coherence Circles

Let’s come together for a guided heart coherence practice. Research shows that just 5 minutes of heart coherence practice lays the groundwork for a better regulated nervous system for the day.

Book Club

Some would say Kristie was called to That Space just so she could run a book club lol. Ours is definitely a book club with a difference! No pre-reading of chapters prior to our session - we just jump online and read together in real time.

 

Ritual practices

Think: journaling, polyvagal practices, heart mapping, grounding, chanting, time in nature, guided meditation and mindfulness, visualisation practice, drawing/colouring, oracle cards etc etc…

Transformation Circles

This is a trauma-informed process where you are safely guided to transform a feeling or stored emotion that is depleting your energy, into something more renewing. These private circles are limited in number; they are never recorded and all personal information is kept private & anonymous.

  • When practices are intentionally bite-sized, it encourages repeat experiences. These micro-renewal practices strengthens and reinforces nervous system regulation, identity, sense of self, sense of community, and sense of wellbeing.

  • We know the energy of the group, and the higher we can raise the vibration of that group, will elevate you individually.

  • There’s loads to share on this topic but in short, the benefit you receive when in a coherent state is various body systems becoming aligned.

  • A regulated nervous system allows you to maintain homeostasis, access restorative sleep, decrease inflammation, and is involved in memory, auditory processing, learning, controlling sensory processing and more.

  • When the nervous system becomes dysregulated it often changes our thoughts, feelings, behaviour, which creates distorted or disproportional responses to stimulus (people, situations, our environment).

  • This is simply a recognition that we all have trauma, some of which is realised and most is yet to “pop up”. We just need you to know that we’re conscious of the need to have a safe space for all.

  • Think of any emotion that takes you into a stressed state, where you feel drained in your energy to deal or be in flow with life. For example: anger, frustration, impatience are depleting emotions.

    But it’s important to know that you can be angry, frustrated, and impatient; it’s all about boundaries and healthy resilience to feeling those emotions.

  • Think of any emotion that takes you into a non-stressed state, where you feel renewed in your energy to deal or be in flow with life. For example: happiness, compassion, joy are renewing emotions.

  • Nope. Whichever session/practice is calling out to you to book through your membership login.

  • Totally. Your camera and microphone will be off as default when you join. This is YOUR practice first and foremost. Turn them on if and when you want to.
